I just wanted to share an idea my wife had for keeping spectacles on my daughter. She wears a hard frame with springy ends on the ears and initially the arms were just too long. One day Catherine put a ribbon on, and wrapped it round the arms, behind her ears. It was a great idea, and has worked very well. It doesn't stop her trying to yank them off when she's frustrated, and we have been through three pairs in a year, but we feel that's acceptable, since the glasses suit her well, and seem to do a very good job, as you can hopefully see!
