Our daughter was diagnosed as severely farsighted (+7.5) last week, she got her glasses today. We were convinced that she wouldn't wear them, but when they finally were able to wrestle them on her, she paused for a few minutes and looked around everywhere, and then kept them on for the whole ride home from the optical shop, until she went to bed a 7:00. We don't know what tomorrow will bring, but we will take it as it comes. We are so new to this, it has been such a ride the last week and half. Once I looked through the glasses, my heart just about burst seeing how strong the prescription was. It is tough to find info out there, other than the basic definitions and descriptions, and we really appreciate this site, I hope more people find it and share stories and ideas, it can feel pretty isolating out there when you can't find people or info that can relate to your situation. Thanks for your site and I will post a picture of Lily with her new glasses.
